In this edition of Truth Unveiled, George Roper explores the often-overlooked wisdom of Elihu in the book of Job. While Job’s suffering led him to question God’s justice, and his friends gave faulty counsel, Elihu offered a perspective that pointed Job back to humility and trust in God. Elihu reminded Job that trials are not meaningless but part of God’s process to shape character, teach reliance on Him, and reveal His care for humanity. His timeless wisdom challenges us today to adopt a contrite spirit and seek God’s purpose in our hardships.

Answers to Life’s Most Important Questions

Where do we come from? What is our purpose in life? Is there an afterlife? These are fundamental questions that we all eventually ask. These are questions that philosophers and scientists have never been able to answer adequately. Atheists would tell you that we are the results of millions of years of evolution arising on a planet billions of years after a big bang out of nothing. They would tell you there is no real purpose for life except for reproducing and creating descendants. That is if there is a purpose at all. They would also tell you that there is definitely no afterlife. What we have now is all we can expect. These conclusions, if true, are not very encouraging.

The good news is that there are answers to these questions and solid evidence of an afterlife. The evidence is so robust that it requires you to rethink your purpose in life and set goals for eternal life. In this article, we are going to explore the evidence that creation is the result of God, that the Bible is His divinely inspired guidebook for life, and that His Son Jesus, also God, died and was resurrected three days later, Humans can be given immortality, and that there is a Sabbath Day still relevant for humanity.
